St. Mary's School Tuition Per Pupil
(2007-2008)
The minimum tuition for students during the 2007-2008 school year has been set at:
$1,884 for the first child
$1,773 for the second child
$1,518 for the third child
Families who cannot afford to pay the minimum tuition are encouraged to apply for tuition assistance from the St. Mary’s School Trust Fund.
Fair Share Contributions
The approximate cost to educate a student at St. Mary’s School is $5,234.00. The Fair Share Contribution Program encourages able families to pay all or an additional part of the costs of educating their children at St. Mary’s School. This is all tax deductible.
Funding Sources
St. Mary’s Parish provides as much as $2,512.00 towards tuition for parishioners’ children. This provides 48% of the total cost.
Fundraisers pay $366.00 toward each child’s education. This provides 7% of the total cost.
Other income such as donations, gifts, rent, and the Diocesan Annual Appeal provide 4% of the total cost.
Fair Share contributions are 5% of the total cost and minimum tuition accounts for 36% of the total cost.
